Images
I've been aware for some time that most images I've posted since last month will not enlarge as they used to. This is not a problem with my blog only as other blogs also have the same issue. I've done some research, and the problem seems to lie in the new system blogspot transferred to a while ago. Things are done differently now, apparently. My research also indicated that there's not much I can do about it, apparantly. This is a particular nuissance to me (and all of you who want to see my purdy pictures, of course) because I have a volume limit with my current ISP. What that means is that after a certain amount of mb's downloaded or uploaded, I will be paying per mb of data transfer. In essence, uploading these images costs me about 1.7mb per image, give or take, yet all I get is a thumbnail on my blog that has maybe 300kbs worth of pixels (less than a 5th the quality, same price). This is not cool. I have half a mind to not post any pictures, but then my blog would suck. And no one would come see it, and I'd lose all my friends, and my family would disown me. So instead, I will diligently try to find a way around this. This will take some time and experimentation, and may not work at all. But if it does, you'll be able to see full-sized pictures again. In all likelyhood I will not be able to make any changes retroactive. If I can I will, of course. But I'm just going to focus on getting future images to enlarge properly. In the meantime, enjoy my entertaining stories and their pint-sized visual sidedishes.
